Archaeology the UCLA Way!
October 16, 2007Welcome to the COTSEN Institute of Archaeology at UCLA, the only place in the world where “the rest of us” can enjoy the cultural history of the world without dedicating our lives to it or having to even get a degree in it.

This blog was set up to share our discovery: the COTSEN Institute of Archaeology at UCLA.
So why is this important? Because this is a very cool place where those of us who were not formally schooled in the ways of Cultural History can:
- Go to ACTUAL archaeological dig sites around the world
- Roll up our sleeves and ACTUALLY DIG if we would like to
- Learn as much about any ancient tribe, culture or country that we like
- Attend lectures, presentations and special events hosted by REAL archaeologists
- Attend social gatherings (usually including some pretty good wine) with other folks like
… and we do all of this with an incredible group of REAL archaeologists!
