Archaeology for the REST of us!

This blog was set up to share our discovery: the COTSEN Institute of Archaeology at UCLA.

So why is this important? Because this is a very cool place where those of us who were not formally schooled in the ways of Cultural History can:

• Go to ACTUAL archaeological dig sites around the world
• Roll up our sleeves and ACTUALLY DIG if we would like to
• Learn as much about any ancient tribe, culture or country that we like
• Attend lectures, presentations and special events hosted by REAL archaeologists
• Attend social gatherings (usually including some pretty good wine) with other folks like

… and we do all of this with an incredible group of REAL archaeologists!
